i think its possible, because the cooldboot.raf is only a dynamic theme! so maybe someone will figure it out.

Oh well then things will turn out to be good
Though might still take some time until people have time to figure out how the .raf files work.
A .raf file is just a container for different resources like sounds, textures, 3d data and so on, right?

A RAF file contains a special form of Javascript that is used to control the 3d elements of a scene. Apart from that, the formats are very basic such as .dae, .skel, .gtf(which is a DDS with a new header)

Heck, when you decompress the RAF with Zlib, you can jsut use .P3T extractor to gather all the files from the file. It's pretty much a p3t with a new name. Hopefully someone can use this knowledge to make an RAF explorer, with built in preview tools for the textures and automatic conversion.

By boot logo I assume this means the bit at the very start and this won't allow us to bring the game boot back?

I know what I'm changing it to:
YouTube - Sony Playstation Boot - Começo

Reminds me of that day I installed my four-wire mod chip, and the utter joy of seeing that logo change to the black Playstation logo screen for the first time... with a CD-R in the machine.

Very Cool but I'm lazy and so will wait for some ambitious person to put together a bunch of custom logos and share with everyone. Actually I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. lol

Amen to that my iTouch displays my self designed logo, as does my Mobile, my Toshiba laptop, even my DS (edge Cart ftw) has a custom skin again using my logo, itching to get it onto my PS3 boot
