After you select the codes open the tray and take the cheat disc out and insert the HDLoader/HDAdvance disc in.

You need to modify the HDLoader ELF with the tools provided in the HDD section which allow you to prevent the freezing for V9/V10/V11.Originally Posted by Den Leiw
If you read the guide it said that backups as well you can just simply burn the ELF file with a SYSTEM.CNF and follow the same steps. (Assuming you have a no-swap chip) In the next version of the guide I will include how to do it with swap methods.Originally Posted by robinfartman

No, I don't have a no swap chip but I do have SwapMagic. I'll be looking forward for the next version of your guide.Originally Posted by Hardvlade

GREAT JOB DUDE!
Robinfartman...I got just the thing...Create a HDL/A cd-r first...after selecting cheats, put in SwapMagicCD, FLIPTOP or whatever and put in CDloader...when load, refresh TOC (meaning put in a REAL ps2 CD game) then fliptop and put in HDL/A and press X...it should boot into HDL/A....
I use a method that's a little different from this one but they should work the same way...I mean I have HDL elf in my HDD so I boot ps2menu first then select my HDL elf but it should work the same way...hope this help ya....AGEE
