like we said. its work in progress. Im more concerned with the content. Users should now be able to submit their own reviews, downloads and images to the image gallery for approval. If you would like to contribute to the site now is definetely time to do so.

hmmm - Portals are all nice and such but I hate them personally - I always by-pass them and go straight to the forum pages. I tend to see portals as only useful for adding advertising banners - and if you don't want to do that then there is really no need to do have one... - Just means there is an extra page loaded and an click required before one can get into the meat of the site - the forum itself.

They are also typically only used for the glitsy high BW using stuff to catch the eye which you don't want on the forum pages else they get slowed down to much.

BTW - is the top site area going to be open submission based or admin recommended only? just appears to be offline ATM if it is submission based.

The album idea is good - just added one myself. But I must say that once your most active members check it out they hardly get touched so they may end up being a storage waste. Especially as we already have the install pictures thread in the forum itself.

Either way - if the page is easy to read and navigate and the extra added features actually get used then hey - well done - change is almost always good!

I like having a download section. It'll keep from having to search the forums everytime you need to d/l something (hopefully).

That would be nice, but unfortunately it isn't working right yet.
I just tried it, only to get the following response...
    Code:
    ! Error !

    Sorry
You are not authorized to access the Downloads Area.
And yes, I was logged in at the time, so I *should* have been recognized as a legitimate user.

The downloads section works fine for me... well atleast the upload portion.
I think we should have more sections in the image gallery. There are more things to take pictures of than a ps2 :P and yes the "quick links" link doesnt seem to be working.
