TechTV To Review PS2 Modchips!

Seems that TechTV has been getting a lot of requests for information on PS2 Modification since their tutorial on mods for the Xbox, enough to make a show out of it. (sponsored by backup-source.com)

Ever since I did Xbox mods a few months ago, people have been sending requests for PlayStation 2 mods. If you're one of those people (and even if you're not), you'd better tune in to the show on Monday, 'cause you're finally gonna get what you want.

There are two wildly popular mod chips, the DMS3 and the Messiah2. The DMS3 is the chip of choice among modders, and it's the chip I will demonstrate on the show.

I'll try to get it on TiVo and once I figure out how to extract video files from the TiVo, I'll have it, muhuhahaha.

he said that it replaces the bios, from my understanding, it does nothing of the sort.. that's an xbox only right??

i thought it just intercepted signals and spoofed fake ones..

There is gonna be a flood of "mods gone bad" ps2s on ebay like we have never seen. Xbox is childs play when it comes to soldering ps2 makes you a man. By all means Tech Tv brings us the goods. I need parts console.
