Huh? Don't get it. It says 3.55 to 3.41 but you have to downgrade via dongle also?

It is recommended that you downgrade the traditional way afterward to 3.15 firmware, and then upgrade the traditional way to 3.41 official firmware.

This part's confusing me a bit...

What it means, is after first downgrading with this method,you will be on a modified version of 3.41. The 3.41 PUP file was patched so the console thinks its a 3.56 PUP, this is what allows its installation on a 3.55 PS3. After downgrading, if you would like a clean unmodified 3.41 firmware, you will need to then downgrade to 3.15 official, and update to 3.41 official
