Well, if you've been on PSN in the past with a dongle it doesn't matter. Now, we have access to CFW and no need for dongles anymore. Either way, accessing PSN with the dongle method or CFW will not matter for banning purposes. This goes for past or present access to PSN it appears. :wow:Quote:
So, if you remove everything and stop using the dongle, they will just leave you alone and let you use PSN again?
Therefore only banning the MAC address of the console would sound better. But this can also be changed
Interesting.. They say this just a week before the release of Killzone 3. Well PSN, it's been fun. But probably, and hopefully, it will be like the 360, only if you get spotted. A friend of mine's been playing Live for at least a year now and still hasnt got banned. I swore I'd laugh in his face when they do so, but it just seems ironic..
wait.. how shuld sony know about piracy if youre system is still on the 3.55 CFW/OFW? I thought the "sony trojan horse" is only in 3.56..
I am surprised by how even handed they are being about it.
Almost like they are giving everyone a chance to go clean before the banning begins.
I wonder if they will be banning machines, PSN accounts or both?
