I believe that the people getting the new TOS screen are the one who live in countries where the QRIOCITY service and/or other music/movie services ARE available.

I am on KMEAW CFW 3.55 since it came up + Multiman 1.16 and a lot of backup games and homebrews. I am still able to login PSN and play COD BO (never cheated and never will)
using Ps3dns + Charles. YES I got the EMAIL but i'm still online.

I live in "Albania" Europe and I login to PSN with an Italian Account since my country is not included in PSN and I didn't get the new TOS screen.

I gotta say... I am in Denmark and here Danish law applies.
It is illegal to change any terms after a purchase. Also, it is illegal to market a product and change its features to the worse.

It is also illegal to add terms to a service after the product has been opened.

So SONY... get ready for a terms change in Denmark OR stop selling the PS3 in Denmark as your new terms are illegal!

Do you guys in America have anything like the consumer rights act

In New Zealand this saves us from sony removing the other os from the 3.21 firmware
however sonys not trialing people in a new zealand court

according to wikipedia you guys have the Fair Credit Reporting Act
I reakon sony breaches this act because when you want to go on psn you have to agree to there tos and if you do not wish to because you do not agree to the new tos then i think that they are withholding your credit card details

sadly if you agree to the tos then they can get away with peeking in ya system but they would have to tell you which information is being recorded i dont see anywhere in the new tos where they state this

Nowhere does the new Terms of service state that it can copy seise or distribute or store my personal or credit card info

including ,address , name , credit card info, phone number

stuff like that it only tells me that they have the right to look through any device connected to the ps3 and telling me my musical content aint mine

and saying that they have the right to ban me from psn
which they do and can if they want

they dont have the right to keep our personal info and that is what they are doing when we make our psn and store our credit card info on it

sadly reading through the new tos which ive done again today i see it states that if sony do an update on our consoles and your console gets bricked and you have agreed to the new terms of service then no we cant take sony to court

As is states in the terms of service that we give sony permission to do so

Basicly if you agree you are court if sony bricks your console with an incomplete or corrupt update then we are stuffed as we have agreed to there terms our hands are tied

or out of there main branch where ever that may be
