This is what happens when a corporation with lots of $$$ is allowed to grow too large. They start trying to control the people and the legal system. Those they can't intimidate, they pay off.
Washing my hands with em for good. Rounding up my consoles (ps3, ps2 & psp), all games ( a lot of games) and heading over to the local game store to trade em in for a different system. Maybe a 360 or a wii (maybe both if I get a good deal on trade-ins) We're a sony-free family now. They're not welcome in our home anymore. You might think I'm or stupid for doing this but I refuse to help finance their witch hunts with the money I spend on their products. The scope of their greed and determination to stifle freedom of speech has left a negative image of them in my eyes. I just don't feel right supporting them.
that being the reason they are going after them.. too bad this is all legal in canada (software modification)

It would still be a setback for them, but it wouldn't be nearly as bad as actually losing.
why not keep the consoles you already own and stick it to them by not buying anymore games.

You know loss of data sucks. One minute it's there. The next it's not being read by any means possible. Just gone! I don't think xainiax should play that game with Sony or maybe my personal details will end up in the hands of Sony along with the rest of yours (well, my details they have already, but you get my point).

PS3 requires you to have the subtitle named the same as the video and in the same folder…that can really make a mess out of a directory….
