Sony Expanding It's Case - Looking For All PS3 Hackers

The latest round of court documents reveal that Sony is expanding it's case beyond Geohot to include other well-known PS3 hackers. They are planning to subpoena various internet sites, including PSX-SCENE, YouTube, Twitter, PayPal and Slashdot in an attempt to locate new defendants such as Cantero, Peter, Bushing, Segher, hermesEOL, kmeaw, Waninkoko, grafchokolo and kakaroto.

God, they need to just suck it up and recognize the console is hacked.

I've never seen so much QQ from a console vendor! MS and Nintendo aren't getting this bent out of shape! Admittedly MS try to do something about hacked consoles... but jesus!

WOW sony has hit a new low, well i guess will find out soo enough about psx-scene future, and i hope now people understand that they need to use common sence when posting, tho might not be related to this, still :P

If theres anything we as users of this great site can do, please let us know.
And sony if your reading this, you need to back the **** up before i sue your ass for selling me something and then taking it away, does other os sounds familiar to you aholes? :P

Damn there really grabbing the scene by the balls , should we really be surprised with soo much money being pissed away on a never ending war , bailouts for those that couldnt manage wisely , SONY is no lower nor higher if they really want this to go away bring back features that were lost i for one was actually using linux for a media player , roms , anything PC related and now i cant just yet maybe never if these AHOLES get after those mention above. Bring linux with full access and a software emulater for ps2 games how can you even label your machine ps3 if ps2 isnt backward compatible which every other system has. ......ohh yeah PATCH ALPHA PROTOCOL this is one reason why games are too expensive for one that game looks amazing but is soo flawed its embarrising to have in the ps3 library how that game left for print is beyond me and you charge the same price that UNCHARTED 2 COST at the time.

dont confuse a dcma takedown with a subpoena they are not the same
if psx scene gets a subpoena they have no choice other than hand over the ip addresses
