Sony enables 3.60 auth kicks all CFW off PSN

“We are expecting sporadic PSN maintenance from approx 9am-3pm PST Thursday 03/17/2011. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

That message was the last thing that CFW users got to see today, later after the network was back up everyone found they been kicked off their PSN!

Sony has finally enabled the new v3.60 auth system which was found hiding in the new firmware they had released last week!

So long and thanks for all the fish....

people were saying the same thing the last time there was maintenance. so if there isn't a ban wave today, then maybe the next scheduled maintenance is the day of reckoning, ahhhhh! ...haha i just think it's pretty goofy to fear the inevitable.

I don't expect mass bans. I expect 3.60 to be actually mandatory, so no one else can connect, stopping all current workarounds from working. If there's anything you want from PSN, you might want to get it very soon.

This always happens about 7 days after a new firmware as Sony switches over to making the new firmware the "must have" to login!

Most likely all the current 3.55 to 3.60 spoofs will stop working by midnight!

I use PS3ITA CFW v1.1 and I played all night long but now when I want to connect to PSN it prompt me to install additional software.

Is there a firmware update or is this method patched by now?

I can also confirm Team Rebug 3.60 spoof has stopped working. Tells me there's an update and it's needed to sign in.

Oh well, t'was a good run! I hope you all got the DLC/PSN-Arcade titles you wanted while you had the chance =)

Yup, I also get this on Waninkoko 3.55 CFW v2 w/ 3.60 spoof.

Ohh well.
