So this is how Sony is treating it's customers now? First, they removed an important feature and then subsequently confirmed it's removal. Now, it would appear that they are silently removing features and then denying that they have done so. I am glad I never bought their piece of crap. Same with the 360, however, the "hacking" progress seems to moving along rather quickly in the case of the 360 so when I do go "current gen" I will be siding with M$ and purchasing a 360, but of course not until they are fully cracked open to the point where I don't have to worry about what version I may end up with when I get home from Wal-Mart. It will happen because the tech guys responsible for the 360's security system designs are not quite as smart as they want to believe they are, which is good for me.
