In defense of github –
That's bullsh*t, this isn't github's war. They fostered the source control to build what were at the time completely legal tools. They're based out of California, and thus subject to the TRO.

What ? Give the contact information ?!
_)_ Sony! I hope github follows gitorious example.
How funny, my name was on there, freaking sony.
I Live In AMERICA where is the freedom of speech?? i'm sure our founding fathers would have just laughed at sony for this..
Money give death to fos^^
ahh really can we get some sleep sony?Stop being a tard and do something useful the last year or so your ps3 update suck its more like removal than addition ,and maybe your owner grandpa uses that useless photo feature you added instead of good feature i hope i can get tool and remove that shit out of my system
Btw if your so hungry come sue me also for warez i will be delighted but be sure no law exist here
well the way i see it is if there is no sony code in the tools they are getting taken down could the author of the tools copyright them and have sony served with a cease and desist? just because it may do somethin sony doesnt like it does not give them the right to have it taken down they dont own someone elses original work if they do claim that isnt that infact copyright infringment? maybe it wouldnt be legally called that but thats the closest thing i could think it would be but im sure its not legal. and thats regardless of the TRO.
its super effective

I have a VPS server, and set up a private tracker. So give me the files, I'll even put them out.
I downloaded the Git off of AerialX's github, and threw it up one of my seedboxes in the Netherlands.
Send them the letter, Sony.
