Sony Continues DMCA Threats

There's a giant enemy crab on the warpath!

Sony sent another round of DMCA takedown notices to Github today!
They've requested removal of over 100 gits, mostly mirrors of the failoverfl0w tools.

I honestly don't see how their claim has any validity, Fail's tools contain no sony code, so aren't they kinda overstepping their boundary a lot?

They are claiming its circumventing thier code. I think it's time to torrent the files. Try to stop that Sony.

good thing gitorious didnt take kindly to their threats!!! screw github for not standing up for its users!!! Screw Sony for thinking they are actually doing something with this lol In the end We win Sony Loses their really just pissing into the wind here...

They need to give up already.There never going to stop this.I wouldnt be surprised if and when egohot wins this court battle, they will continue to send out dmca notices to legitmate , non $ony code developers.

haha nope, never paid attention to the Git, I set it up as a screw you sony, but they've taken all 3 of the repos, so I closed up shop

I honestly don't see why Sony wants everyone's names.. what are they going to try and sue me?
