What can we (the nondevs) expect from that?
does this sh it mean we got the NPDRM key?
This should help people understand how BDP (Bluray Disc Players) work... the STB with like BDP-530S and BDP-730V or whatever they are.
This is nothing related to the PS3 specifically.. this however likely will decrypt your PS3 firmware as its likely running a version of a BDP firmware. This would let you swap the drives at the least. I however doubt that'd work.. would help decrypting bluray movies possibly :)
Yes, but tell me, will it run GT5?
will this help all of us with the BD prohibited error?
No but it makes great toast. lol

Every single thing released helps someone do something else. Thank you for taking the time to do this! :)
Now i'm wondering, if we can decrypt the ps3 blu-ray drive firmware too.
(But i dont see why not)
Could lead to modding the fw and running games from backip discs - would end this sony vs. hackers war once and for all.
