    they do the same thing every time there is a systme update.
    hackers find a way to connect with out updateing days later sony blocks it.

    With the FTP server being released, maybe hackers will figure out mac spoofing.

    lol and just as i figured out how to fix the stealth managers for internal backups

    you cant go online anymore

    lol the stealth managers sux cuase the person that made them got lazy

    and never editied the eboot.bin to accompany the directory change

    for any one with a stealth manager that want internal storage

    use the ftp server and add this to your ps3

    */dev_hdd0/LAUN12345/GAMEZ

    add those folders and it will work internal now

    What made the DNS before so special? I mean, I know it blocked the firmware update, but isn't this something that we could run our own proxy servers and do too? Did Sony just block anyone coming from that IP address, or the fact that you haven't updated your console and you're logged into PSN? I think they'd have a hard time blocking all the IP addresses that would be logging in via their own proxy servers if that was the route they took. Just my .02.
