I would just like to appology for the downtime with the server, we had never had that many hits at the same. We know everyone of you wanted to disscuss about all the recent newsbreak bout the hex codes released, so enjoy for now

Give thanks to the guys at frontserve.com :P He is helping us even thou he doesnt support php/mysql that much, his bussines is more focused on ASP/SQL Server

I think he did that coz he proberbly hasn't got a woman so he can be at one with his Playstation

SICK, CHEAP AND CRAP 3 good things for a business that runs as well as theirs

They advertise COVERS over at OWNZ but U cant even click the link u ****ing DICK..
Even if so be it that PS2NEWZ went a bit wrong for a while at least its maintained and the links work good JOB PS2NEWZ STAFF at least they know the meaning of the phrase "being committed to ones work"

LOL another reason (and he admits this in his forums) is that he cannot install mod chips. He finds mod chip installation destructive LOL He shouldn't even attempt it if he can't do it. Now he promotes this cover thinggy they got which, has more potential to damage a PS2.

Lesson learned: Never have someone like "Z" install your modchip for you, have it installed by an experienced, reliable professional. If you let someone like "Z" install modchips, you'll prolly get a flippy thinggy PS2 back instead because he just can't get that damnned mod chip installed.

ps. maybe he used glue instead of soldering it?

pps. Z is an ass (a fat one maybe?)

I was gonna make the point about him proberbly not being able to install mod chips but i cant say much coz i bought mine as a premod.

But at least its been PROFESSIONALLY fitted and i ain't got some GAY BISCUIT TIN LID on my PS2

I was hoping PS2NEWZ could review it so that I would get a fair and accurate response to this question: "Will those lids be good as ashtrays and ciggy holders?" Because if I ask it over "there", I'm sure gonna get banned. I think its a legitimate question on its functionality and versatility that I want answered before even considering thinking about deciding to think about condsidering to possibly buy it.

BTW you would Still INVALIDATE your warrantee fitting one of those things,
Especially now there are so many NO-SWAP mods out, this guy wanna sells a piece which you still have to swap to boot backups and it will INVALIDATE YOUR ORIGINAL WARRANTY

Also would the disk STOP spinning coz if not that would cause you PS2 to break in NOO Time

I am just starting to wonder if this guy is secretly working for $ony to break ppls PS2 who wanna play backups and coz their warranty is no more $ony get another hardware sale

Correct me if i am wrong but Especially as he was working for a Piracy group,Then NEO4,Then an Anti-piracy group, now releasing these lids and i don't think their intent is to play original imports

I've been quiet about this, but I can't wait to see what happens to those frickin' fools for circumventing the government safety standards and guidelines set out for Class 1 laser products.

Modifying the cover and PS2 drive like that opens them up to a slew of potential governmental and personal lawsuits for any safety issues which may arise out of folks claiming eye damage from an unsecured and unapproved laser source.

Heck, I may just buy a few and send them to Sony and Washington DC as a public service...
