Showtime Mediaplayer Ported to the PS3!

This is really neat, works super fast and easy! It would be nice ( if possible ) to make it read BluRay discs since the PS3 itself does the stupid region check. I havent tested this alot yet, but normal divx/xvid files run smooth for me!

, just the kind of homebrew everyone has been waiting for.

The video was lagging in a 720p video [H.264, Level 4.1] video, while an MPEG2Video [1280X538] video was working perfectly.

Many game cutscenes were working great as well.

What does this do that the ps3 doesn't already do?

edit, does this for example play any region dvds, i have a jap
ps3 but cant play region 2 dvds
