Finally the UPGRADE is completed as per my posted schedule earlier today.

Complete site upgrade and update, and removal of all unneeded files and old leftover plugins. Site should now be TOTALLY FREE from any of those silly SECURITY TOKEN ERROR messages from appearing.

If any user, normal, guest, mod, admin gets an ERROR MESSAGE now, PLEASE PLEASE PM me or send an email to webmaster. Now to reply to all those people complaining about the site, to tell them it works now.

Many users also could not log-in before for some reason, so hopefully the amount of GUESTS will go down with now a better listing of users shown online with their registered name.

All user profile control panel issues should also be fixed.

One small thing, to get the errors to be gone totally, I needed to undo some of the skin/template changes made by "ps2dragon". Sorry ps2dragon, but I am sure you can find a way to update the new 3.8.2 templates for Vbulletin. (The old skin was using 3.7.0).

The main problem with that change is only one small item is missing the button along the TOP called FORUMS. To access the forums for now, you need to press on the SMALL blue button on the far-left next to the words "PSX-SCENE".

The other big change is Google ADSENSE is now part of the Vbulletin package, it can be turned off (don't think xiaNaix would like that), or it can be set to LOW or HIGH. Currently it is set to LOW, which means one small text ad at the top under the navbar and one big ad at the bottom before the copyright footer. If I set it to HIGH, you will see two big ads, one at the top and one at the bottom, plus guests when sending a message or post (which they can't do anyway) will also see an ad when trying to send or post a message.

The nicest change for me in maintaining this site is finally got the directory tree down to a simple one-page view, and only have 1,255 files containing 13.4mb running the whole site (plus of course the huge SQL database of just over gigabyte containing all your six years of posts).

This final last upgrade tonight, got rid of 5,435 files containing 37.0mb of junk which was just laying around slowing down the site, and serving no useful process anymore, years of many cooks no and no chef and various changes of the main portal leaving lots of wasteful junk.

Damm, fixing that function sure helped, the SQL engine it was crashing when this page was being loaded.

For some reason the listing was trying to display all the "inactive users", which there is over 21,000 that have not logged in for a very very long time, so you were just getting a blank white page as the memory cache would fail.

    But now it works.

But for the life of me, where is this "view forum leaders" function, can find the link for it anyplace on this site.

But for those that wish to directly see what amp2006 and me are discussing, click here it works now:

    http://psx-scene.com/forums/showgroups.php

Ok, finally 5am in the morning, maybe enough coffee now, or not enough sleep, but I finally found where this link is on the site you are talking about, and I also got the list showing up better, first time the mods where shown twice, now just the good so called "leaders" are shown in proper order.

Anything else out of place after the upgrade?

Everything currently is running on v3.8.2 of Vbulletin and v3.2.1 of the VbAdvanced_cmps portal front-end.

Much more stable and bullet-proof plus those two versions work together with no problems, unlike before when the forums were running on mostly v3.7 beta with v3.0 of VBA.

Only thing out of place still is the new interweaving of the Google AdSense.
