Anyways besides that. I understand why Sony is suing this time around. Those .self files are encrypted and signed by Sony. It's not like we are reverse engineering the code and then iterating on it. So I can understand why sony is pissed. But then again it's ****ing futile. You can't sue the shit out of hackers just to get your precious device back to un hacked state. Once a system is hacked, there's no going back. For every hacker you jail there's 100 more to replace him or her.
Also for people who think hacking the PS3 is gonna kill the console. You seriously need to look at Microsoft's history. The PSP is a hand held so it doesn't count. The 360 and PS3 are clearing millions each year. There's like a 13 million install base. Hacking the 360 and PS3 will only count for that say 4% of the user base if that. Hacking, jailbreaking, pirating, you name it won't effect the longevity of either console. Plus we are 3/4 of the way through this generation's life span. So it will only make sony hurry up with the next line if anything.
EDIT: Also Thanks for the news gary! I know it get's expensive paying for these documents. Newbies don't know that you pay out of your own pocket for this news. Which is why you are always the first to get it.
