I agree. Get a grip people and get real.
Would serve them right if the entire service jig was released into the wild. That would be funny
If you really want to let sony know your feelings you could always use an anonymous email service.
Just spotted that someones done it.

Facts
1) The jailbreak exemption is for cell phones/ipod touches only. Not for game consoles.
2) The video game DRM exemption is purely so you can make sure the DRM doesn't introduce security holes in your PC. Not for game consoles.
3) They are actually trying to jail the makers of ps3jailbreak, and get EVERYTHING pulled. ps3groove, every reseller, and even anyone that sells even blank development boards to consumers.
And if they win all console manufacturers will follow suit.
good luck with that one! how many college kids need em?and even anyone that sells even blank development boards to consumers.
They won't go after dev boards, do you know how many people use these boards that have nothing to do with the ps3? This is what makes it so hard for Sony, are they going to go after the calculators too?
They want to avoid the damage from further spreading. But there are certain things that they can't touch, which is why they are really pissed and acting crazy.
Well Sony is chasing this as fast as it can, and to be honest the news isn't a surprise to me. Thing is, Sony is trying so hard to exterminate all examples of the PS3 Jailbreak, but i think eventually they'll end up like Apple, sitting in their seats unable to do shit about it except for creating new FW's to block it. Look at Apple, the Jailbreak for iPods and iPhones etc was legalized, and even if you take your iPhone in and say 'ooo i jailbroke it' they can't do anything, except babble and tell you it affects warranty, but a simple restore and they don't know jack.
Steve Jobs said he will 'remotely shut down' iPhones etc in the future with some new kind of jailbreak detector, which will never happen because that goes against everything. It's all threats, no action. Sony is taking action but soon enough, this will just go back round and slap them in the face. We all say we aren't going to buy Sony products anymore, but the problem is we will, even if they ban our consoles, because they are like the Apple of the broader electronic market, and we all have more than one Sony product (excluding the PS3).
I personally think Sony should go to hell and swallow it up because there is a limit to what they can actually do, and that brick wall will soon hit them. When i read that they are banning unlicensed controllers that was just a pisstake, so i ordered two 'unlicensed' ones for £19 eachdifferent colours too, something you haven't done Sony?
Yes i bought the PS Move as well, and i'm sure fake controllers for them will eventually surface. Once my PS3Key arrives, **** Sony i'm doing whatever i want with my PS3.
