Cease and Desist letters are nothing but scare tactis. I would sue their asses for stealing my stuff.
SCE will force fw3.4.1 user to sign a cease and desist letter lol
If you still 3.4.1 so after signing the letter the penalties start at 5100€.
They can only do that to Inter-continental shippments. Thank God for the Euopean Union laws =)
yeah its true what the other user has stated
If sony is trying to stop the sale of these well as read from somewhere else the revised the Code, so its not the same. and well once someone can figure that out it can can load it up on to these usb boards and allows to run on older Firmwares,
there isnt any other ports on the ps3 other then the Ethernet,
well sony Cant stop all of em,
ugh... this is gonna grow into a firmware war now.. and to the users who updated their Ps3 for Medal of Honor i feel bad for em. cause well it wasnt worth updating for that game.. haha
Exactly hahaha game sucks. MOH:AA is the best ever and this last one is just a disgrace to It's name.

Well, there's 14% Diskspace gone when you format a disc. Maybe they are collecting data or whatever and if the console ylod's, they are sucking the data of the console when you send it for repair.
I believe, that once the firmware is analysed enough and people get better and better in understanding what's going on, there's no chance for Sony to encrypt the GameOS enough to prevent further hacks. The PS3 is open, and it will keep it ;-)
