You can find (almost) all PS3 official firmware updates here: All PS3 Official Firmwares
There are info about MD5, release date and size too.
I don't really see the point of it, but any contribution to the scene is a great one.
So thanks for this one mate.
Yeah, but AFAIK there is FW 3.41 version that is patched (JB don't work).
Thanks! :)
Well, if you got a .pup laying around and you want to check what firmware is it or does it JBable\Downgradeable then this tool could be usful for you too.. ;)
:shhh: Don't tell anybody :shhh:
But no, It doesn't work like that.
It all stored at my server.
Why didn't I used this method? because maby (For example!) tommorow or maby next week there will be a JB for 3.55 and then I will need to update the program itself, wich I don't want to do every time there is new JB.
Anyway - I gonna upload the source in a few hours (need to licence it first).
You might want to rephrase that before this thread gets flooded with people assuming you mean that there definitely will be one tomorrow or next week. You know, the same people who look at the first post and the thread title and still ask silly questions.Quote:

I already have a tool called PS3UPDAT.PUP Version which tells me which fw is really inside the pup (in case some douch/sony tries to fool you).Quote:

So i really don't see the point of this tool.
According to eurasia: "So far the OS/firmware releases are multi region (USA/PAL/JAP), same data/file (bit for bit) is used for all consoles across regions.".
If that's true why not implement it in your program?
