PSUpgrader V1.2 has been now released!

Of course, we have a lot of PS3 machines with FW3.50 and PSJBs.

However, PSUpdater v1.2 didn’t work for ours.
We call that PSJB is the GOORA-break.

Then again if people bought PSjailbreak before the release date of the downgrader then i am sorry but they are fishes. I always wait in order to see if the things they say are true. Otherwise i would have spent 100+$ on some shit dongle

I Agree. its like pre ordering a game. THe release dates are always changed.

Since yesterday we already got many different errors on the PS Upgrader. This is a good sign. It means they are working on it.

If it was just a scam (people doesn't believe in nothing only when they got in hands) was no need to them to work on the upgrader program.

As like was said here before one of the possible delays reason its the security they are making.

And the reason of so many security is because of the many "hackers" here want to steal the code and copy clone the device.

So if you bought one already and have in hand. Probably you will downgrade first of any other projects like PSgrade just need patient.

Canging EF BF BD to A0 does not fix the file properly, there is much more mess with the encoding, thing is the updates are downloaded using XML-SOAP with TEXT encoding of the binary update payload. But it seems something maybe happening right now as the file download worked a few minutes ago, but now the updater fails, with error saying that it can not download. It does actually download both FLA files, it can be seen within wireshark logs where it is possible to combine the payloads and display complete large SOAP request. But when server sends this, the updater 1.2 crashes. So I assume it is either something that can be and must done on the server, or it could be 1.3 update is needed as well.

UPDATE: to avoid 1.2 crash, edit the config file, change

maxStringContentLength="8192"

to

maxStringContentLength="65535"

then you can download FLA files again.. there are no more "EF BF.." inside downloaded FLA's, but...

the downloaded FLA is now in TEXT representation, it is not converted to binary at all. So still some waiting in loop..!

Its not text representation, its base64 encoding, just decode it and past hex to file, then try to flash.
when you will save it, file will be exact size as dealers have. 4.37kb

i just decoded it using a base64 decoder is that fine ?
