Not sure if this is comparable but:

I've been using psnlover on my PSP to connect to PSN for over 4 months to play PSP games online, and download demo's from PSN.

Never got banned =/

If they banned my username, i would just make a new one.
And if they ban my mac adress, it's SO EASY to spoof a new one...

yeah i really don't think they'll pick an choose who gets banned simply by what they were doing, but they'll just pick the next bunch of user's (ip's/mac addresses) who we're using this method to connect,

so in short nothings safe untill the storm has passed,
doesn't matter why you we're online its just the simple fact your using a jailbreak device, they dont care if your using it legit or not.

Well if that's the case, with such non-discriminate banning I think we're already unsafe. My thoughts are, every time we attempt to connect, it version checks us and tells us we need to update. But devs have said before that our other lists and usage are still pushed to them, on boot even. If that's the case, they already know who is jb'ed and will ban us anyway.....quite a quandary.

Anyone want to post the patches the mathiulh (sp?) posted already inputed into the hermes patch? I'd like to compile some .hex files for the people here.

Dude, why don't you be a little proactive and find the info for your board and then someone might compile it for you. We need to know board type, frequency, and CPU. Get that info and you'll have your hex
