Guy's i had the message saying a system software update is needed, i clicked yes on accident (yeah i know, i was a bit pissed lol) and i got this message, see pic, so whats that error code? was it trying to fetch 3.50 from server? or is it prob due to maintenence, we will see in the morning. hope im not ****ed.

maybe that's the first sign of a "ban"? won't let you download the newest firmware.

It is a server error code meaning their servers are down (maintenance usually) it doesn't mean your banned or what ever, a google search for 'PSN error' with that number takes you to several topics on the playstation board from 2007.

EDIT: IT IS NOT A BAN! seriously people do a google search of any error code first before posting and speculating! One of the first returns from google on that error code would tell you it's related to their servers being down! this isn't a new error code!.

noticed something strange...

the updatelist.txt while using the jb psn spoof will request the jap region (http://fjp01.ps3.update.playstation....updatelist.txt)

but when i try it WITHOUT jb on the same 3.41 ps3, it requests the usa server
(http://fus01.ps3.update.playstation....updatelist.txt)

and when i try it on my 3.50 non-jb ps3, it'll request the MX region (http://fmx01.ps3.update.playstation....updatelist.txt)

that edit was directed more towards the people who would immediately think it was a ban code lol sorry if you thought I was being prickish towards you.

I think they're using a new check protocol to make sure the console is 3.5+ for psn access, which either 3.41 does not have, or we haven't figured out how to improve the spoof to make it work with the new update.
