Thank you EvilSperm

I wonder how many hits this will add to the already 800k since the site went up.. lol..
i hope it doesn't go down again, after evilsperm having to build it again, dying again just sucks.
A definite thanks, and its always good to have choices. I would like to say however that someone did a vmware of it, and it was posted on this site 3 weeks ago, and hardly anyone said squat, wasn't moved to news, etc.
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f149/hom...ease%5D-72838/ (Homebrew Development Environment [vmware][release])
I'm sure evilsperms has a frontend and all of that, so its sure to be more noob friendly than this other command line only one. Just saying, but thanks a lot. For the person looking for VMware, this one is VM in the link above, but it is entirely command line.
So the NV CG toolkit and all that is on here, how about oopos libraries, zlib?
I just used this one and added the ps3tools stuff myself. Not much work involved...
THX! I share/seed that Torrent with my Server so.. happy leeching
Superseed is enable ;-)
true. Evilsperms previous vms were awesome. All set up and ready to use. No need for installing over hours (!) anymore. Thanks for sharing Evilsperm! (my 3.55 is looking forward to happily flash your signed rebug)
Now for a more critical note:
tbh, this whole psl1ght thing is nice and cool, and I fully understand the need for an open-source sdk. Besides the legal reasons, this is a huge project for all devs involved. And as the ps3 can handle a lot of stuff, coders with all kind of experience can contribute to it...
BUT it will NEVER reach the state of an official sdk. So my point is, if all the effort put in psl1ght would have been used to compensate for the lack of documentation on the official sdk, imagine what could be coded by today! Sure, end-users would have to compile for themselves, but hey, I wouldn't care to do it.And lets be honest, compiled versions would pop up somewhere for the n00bs.
And yea, thx button would be cool, no need to read 20 pages of "thanks [insert dev here]!!!! What does this do?". But **** that +rep shit, really. Whats the point? I love the open approach of this site. I will scroll through those 20 pages mentioned, np, better than a stupid rep-system. collecting points to download, sure![]()
