Just a side-thought:
Even if Sony implements an algo, there probably would be a patch-util for ISOs so everyone can patch his originals to run anyway.
So the real cat&mouse-game just started and I can't even think of, what Sony will do to prevent ALL&ANYTHING on 'their' console.
But in the end,... The door is opened.

Btw.: I think, they can't simply patch it on the current PS3-Revisions, but change it simply for further models.
But that the game run's from another device is possible to detect (on and offline) in my meaning, or maybe it is also possible to detect, that the console is currently in/started from "service mode". if PSJB really works that way.
