PSJailbreak Copyright Free Claims maker, Sony Using ‘Scare’ tactics

ConsoleWinkel.nl managed to talk with PSjailbreak guys:

PSjailbreak is legal and contains no copyright code, that’s what the makers of the device are claiming. In a conversation forwarded to us, a Dutch retailer reveals that the creators of the device are insisting that Sony is just using ‘scare tactics’ to try and make people think twice before selling it. Moreover the creators are claiming that the device was primarily produced for homebrew on the PS3 console. Keep reading to check out the transcript, some names have been blanked out.

What little can be decoded seems vaguely interesting, but since much of it is completely unreadable 'pixel porridge', adding some kind of transcript might have been more useful.

All i can make out is PSJailbreak repeating "Nothing illigal" and "No infringement"

Does anyone else think this injunction is just Sonys way of getting its hands on the hardware/code so they can block its usage?

Let's hope. I am not sure I would take the word of the PSJ team seeing as they originally priced this unit, and most likely created this controversy. You would think that this letter should've been sent to ozc seeing as he is part of the team that is now going to court to defend their device.

I think the Sony injunction was all about getting their hands on these dongles for a countermove. Probably with a firmware update to try and disable the device from USB once they determine how and if they can stop the device from functioning. They(Sony) knows in the end they're fighting a losing battle. It's scare tactics!
