Whatever kernel comes with CM6 stock.
Listed as 184.108.40.206-g103d848 android-build@apa26 #1 in about phone.
restored in nandroid advanced mode, Boot option only.
to clarify, it works with the old freedom, I can restore boot and everything works perfectly. 2.0 breaks something.
Well ive fixed it. Thats weird cause when I would Nandroid Advance Restore just boot it worked fine. My problem was installing Freedom then installing P3 kernel to go back to normal Id lose WiFi. Since I cant recreate your problem, let me know if 2.0.1 fixed it or not.

Restored Boot in Nandroid. Wifi is in tact, Fix confirmed working. Thanks for taking the time to fix it, its appreciated.
Has this been updated to support the 3.15 ps3 firmware?
No. It can be compiled for either 3.01, 3.15, or 3.41 not all three. I dont have anything besides 3.41 so I really couldnt test one. But, itd be super easy to do it for anyone who has one of those firmwares to test on.
Compiling kernels for different payloads
Compiling kernels for different payloads –
Does anyone know how to compile the kernels? I what to learn how to so I can add the new payloads to help with controller issues. I know Girlsname has been great at add updates but I would like to do this as well. I have searched the internet but to no avail.
Girlsname, if you can give some pointers or at least where to look I will be very grateful.
Thats the guide I used when first starting out. Just ignore anything about editing the config files or about adding in WiFi unless you want to tackle that as well. Its actually really simple. Just make sure after you compile it once, you keep it around as all you need to do is compile psfreedom against that with each update.
As for getting it into a .zip to use for updating, just unpack the .zip from 2.0.1 and look at system/lib/modules There will be the psfreedom.ko Replace it with the one compiled from a new version, zip it all back up and you are good to go!
Many thanks!! –
Thank you very much!! I will work on this when I get home
