Heres a port of PSFreedom for the Droid. Compiled against 2.6.32 kernel, so make sure your rootfs is from a ROM that uses that kernel. It was tested on CyMod6 but anything from that kernel should work. This port was really done as a collaboration between a bunch of people. Too many to name but if they want a mention let me know and Ill oblige.

Head over to http://psfreedom.com/wiki/Motorola_Droid for up to date instructions and new easier to use install files.

    Update 2.0:
Droid Freedom has now been updated with the latest PSFreedom source which includes Peek/Poke and allows for use of Open Backup Manager. A disc is still required for backup launching just like any other PSFreedom build.

    Update 2.0.1:
In an effort to fix the lack of WiFi some users, including myself, were having, I inadvertently made it so that WiFi wouldnt come back when restoring just the boot image of your proper roms backup. Sorry! 2.0.1 is the exact same PSFreedom build but without any of the broken attempted WiFi fixes inside. I have confirmed this doesnt have the same "bug" as 2.0 for myself. If anyone still has problems let me know and I will address them.

Here is the one for EVO 4G
    http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=165

Get the signed BVDM if you want to enable backup manager.

This works on Fresh 3.2 and CM 6. However, with CM6 the boot is stuck at the white screen but psfreedom still works.
Also Amon_Ra is working to add psfreedom option to the recovery so you don't have to flash enable / disable

So it doesn't work with 2.1 (ESE81 CM 5.0.8)? I had to downgrade to 2.1 because WPA2 Enterprise PEAP keep disconnecting in 2.2 (CM6).

Also no charging from USB means that if your battery runs out then you are screwed unless you charge it from an other phone?

From the looks of it, it's probably better getting one of those programmable USB boards since I don't want to reflash my phone everytime I want to use it.
When you have a question google got the answer.

So I may be reading it wrong but does enabling this make your phone useless where you say "Your phone will not be able to charge or use USB of any sort other than JB when flashed with this kernel" or we'll have to flash back with nandroid to use our phones in other words?
