Did anyone get this working with no-disc...getting it to boot games without blu-ray disc in the drive. I thought Backup manager 1.1 and the newer open managers support this, but when I tried with OM 1.12 and Dingoo 1.3, it didn't work...still required disc in the drive. Or is this a hermes v3 feature that dingoo 1.3 or 1.4 doesn't support yet. Or am I just confused?

Honestly this seems the port to have IMO. I have two chips an EcliPS3 and PIC setup and thanks to iLLNESS I can actually enjoy these. Hope it gets ported soon to other devices soon.
EDIT
Seems the EcliPS3 team updated the software and is now compatible with PSGrooPIC and I now have the best of both worlds so thanks to the devs and iLLNESS.

^^ I second that motion, but i havent seen the Hermes 4b ported to PSfreedom yet so its very unlikely we will see a Dingoo port anytime soon. I hope i'm wrong on this, maybe Wainkoko will surprise us with another release.

I'm confused. Why am I and other Dingoo owners still left back while anyone (and it seems I mean ANYONE) who DOESN'T own a Dingoo can access all the newest and latest features? Not that I understand everything that the new managers or payloads do, most often these explanations are written in a language that looks an awful lot like English, but is clearly only completely understood by high-level programmers. Seriously, if I were to install the latest Gaia Manager, I wouldn't know what more than half the damn buttons do. So I guess the good thing is, I at least understand all the functions of what I've got now.
But my confusion doesn't end with all the functions and so forth I can't yet access. I originally came to the boards to put in an impassioned plea that someone port all the new payloads to the Dingoo, and was going to direct that request at Waninkoko, but now I'm not so sure he's the one I should ask. Is it PSFreedom itself, and NOT the Dingoo port, that has not been updated in what feels like forever? And if so, how do I contact whoever's in charge of that and beg for updates like the pathetic junkie I am?
I want to be able to patch my games and continue to be able to run new ones. That's more or less all I want to do. And the easier that process, the better. Is there, perhaps, an alternative solution for that, as opposed to sitting around waiting for someone to get off their keister and update something?

PSFreedom 1.4B and Open Manager 1.142

PSGroove and PSFreedom are not the same thing, PSFreedom is like a port of PSGroove for some devices, Dingoo included.
Once it's been ported, anyone from the Dingoo community who knows how to compile linux kernel for the dingoo shouldn't have problems adapting the PSFreedom code to it.
If you have tried PSFreedom on the Dingo you will note it gets executed as a background service, it may be easy to modify a linux dingoo image once the code has been ported.
The problem is, i haven't seen a new version of PSFreedom with the lastest payloads from Hermes v4b.
