Or a Dual Boot install where you can choose to boot to 3.41 or 3.50 that would be tits! Hopefully once the downgrade is liberated for the benefit of all we can at least upgrade/downgrade as you described.

They are doing this becuase they are a business, and want to money.
Psjailbreak was never cloned, it was reverseed using a USB analyzer i think.
They used the signals to construct their own code.

This was easy because the signals that passs through to the ps3 are not encrpyted, they cannot be becuase the ps3 cannot read the data.

from my understanding, with this whole downgrade thing, and the file it uses, both sides are encrypted....so the device cannot be sniffed....."hackers" can only guess how they are doing it, and trying and recreate.

I am guessing this will take a while...but if you want to wait, you can wait.

So basically you're saying it's not that they can't use this to JB 3.50, they simply don't care to do that because they know it'll be cloned and they won't make much money off it. This way at least ensure they'll make some decent profit before it gets reversed and somebody else uses it to JB 3.5.

Coming from this team, that's entirely believable.

Ah no it could nevertheless sniffed because the dongle must connect to the ps3 and send signals to the PS3 the PS3 must recognise these Signals and go then into the Factory/Service Mode.

In the Factory/Service Mode the PS3 can be Downgrade with every Original .PUP like the 3.41 PUP

And nevertheless the Update File for the PSJB is encrypted it was decryptet on the PSJB.

So it could be sniffed or reversed like the first PSJB

They promised we would be able to use PSJB on new firmwares. Meaning we would be able to take advantage of new firmware features. These guys give modders and the scene a bad name.

They told me the process almost 1.5 month ago.
But they left out many details. How they are making it secure....I don't know for sure, but can they really f**k it up twice in a coupleof months?

I don't have the downgrade file yet
But i think its a leaked Sony file
