If you love the fact that your PS3 is jailbroken or downgraded but trash on the PSJAILBREAK team that did all of the original work in the first place, you're nothing but a hypocrite.
Like what I have said before, never ever underestimate the PSJAILBREAK team at all.
I've been reading thru this very long thread and all there are so far are speculations. Nobody has yet received anything physical evidence that this exsists and that it actually does what they say it will.
Also, one big question is, assuming that it does exist and that it does what they claim, that what does excatly this "one time downgrade" mean?
Is it a limitation on the PS3 itself, or is it a limitation on your wallet ($40 / downgrade)?
So, we can speculate all we want, but personally I hope that it's real, but all we can do and wait right now, until someone we can trust has actually done it.
But I don't think that is very correct and nice to accuse the JB crew of anything before we have some proof, one way or the other.
So when i can use my clone JB ?
1) Ah, I wasn't aware of that, thanks for clarifying that Gary

3) I should have phrased that better, I meant $40 for the original dongle instead of the 120 price tag they had originally, they probably would have sold a lot better at $40 then their enormous price, established a better reputation (especially if they had of delivered on other promises) so in the end people probably wouldn't have minded paying $10-$15 for the downgrade option.
I see where you're going for the one time downgrade, which makes perfect sense, I know a few people who don't care about the new games at this point, and have no desire to play any 3.42+ based games, and are quite content playing offline with only their 3.41 and under based games, I just think it's a mistake to ONLY have the downgrader.
But alas, that's all wishful thinking, So I'm going to remain on the S.S Skepticism until someone confirms and shows a proper video of the downgrade which is done in a way that discredits claims of editing.
Finally registered after reading these forums for a while.
The thing I don't get that everyone has commented on is the one time use,
If once you downgrade it changes something on your dongle then why can't you just reflash it with the file they sent you again? Surely if it disable the file after you have downgraded it should just be a case of reflashing that file to the PSJB then you could downgrade again

In a few days after jailbroken 3.50, 3.51 would appear, and you would want jailbroken 3.51 etc. etc. etc.
Now (if the downgrade and compatibility with "all future firmwares" is true), you're kind of independent from Sony updates.
I downloaded the setup ( PSJAILBREAK Upgrader) and I followed the steps but i cant get my serial number it keeps telling me that there is no dongle found !!!
Is your definately an official dongle?
