I'm also stating, clear as day, that site psdowngrade.com is also a fraud.

What about the IP adress? Psjailbreak and psdowngrade are the same IP-adress, the same owner,...
So they fake their own site, right?

Show one actual confirmation from somebody (blog, news, twitter etc.) where somebody has actually stated that this is real, it works, I have tested etc......

Not one well known dev has gone on record stating this is real.

So if you can really make a credible, focused and UNCUT video that shows the TV output without moving the camera around etc, I'm sure people would be interested in seeing it. You should also put some kind of clock with second hands in the shot for a time reference.

The site is a hoax. Do not spend your money there. :-) The video is definitely fake. If you go to ps-downgrade.com - the site the video links to, you'll see a banner on the right, verifying authenticity, and asking you to click it. Clicking it doesn't do anything.

The images used in the PSJailbreak template were modified in Photoshop CS5, and not exported using a save for web feature. This means that the people who set up the site did not have the original template’s PSD file. Every single file used on the official site was exported for web. Every single file used on the jailbreak site that was modified has the Photoshop CS5 information in it.

The real proof of this, however, is in the html. You'll find the phrase “ImageReady Slices” is used several times in both themes, something you get when you export for web ImageReady.


The changes between the original HTML/CSS and the fraud’s indicate that the user that the person who edited the pages was using a graphical editor, rather than a text editor such as notepad++ or scite.

Spread the word on this crap. :-( I was very optimistic about a 3.50 jailbreak, until I saw this site. Somebody really needs to take pride in their work. :-(

Additionally... If you look at the style of banners, the fraud even stole a vista style backgrounds and added their own text to it. The real site uses a simple glossy theme on most of their images, along with a web-2.0-ish pattern.
