Previously there was a long thread right here on PSX-SCENE regarding the "sample update" that got shipped out to various PSJAILBREAK Dealers, but as of this posting the EMAIL'ed files have let to appear or be tested.

All that has happen so far is the official support site psdowngrade.com has gone live, and this very poor video as working proof has been supplied by Disjod, owner of the PS-Downgrade.com site, an official reseller:

Hello, Our USB Updater is finally here!!!

Once downloaded run setup.exe
During install it will prompt you to choose a usb device
make sure your PSjailbreak is connected
Choose unknown device
Once install is complete
Open psupgrader icon on your desktop
And click my serial number

Once this is done you will have to email us back your serial number from the same email account we sent you our email. We will then generate the files for each individual serial number and email you back the file to update your USB unit. Please get back to us asap with your individual serial numbers.

since usb on startup was disabled in 3.42, devs should see if they can get into the factory mode and launch the regular payload, that will mean getting jailbreak on 3.50

That will only come from the scene. Don't expect anything again after this from PSJB

If true they finally showed they are able to emulate/clone a real service-jig-stick... So the process looks like this:
1. update your original psjailbreak dongle to behave 1:1 like a service-jig. Thats why it would work on 3.50 without an exploit.
2. start your ps3 in service mode and insert a storage-usb with the update they e-mailed you. Downgrade your ps3 to 3.41.
3. jailbreak with the exploit already known.

Wait, I think I don't get this. There are two files involved in this, right? One hex or somethink to modify the dongle and a .PUP? They e-mail you both and both are encrypted and work only with the serial you gave them?
Or can you use an unmodified 3.41 update file while in service-mode?
If that's the case, then they didn't find a way to sign their own .PUPs and the rumour about them having some keys is definetly wrong.
Only thing then would be a "REAL" JIG-STICK FOR EVERYBODY!
Also can somebody explain that service-mode a little? Why not stay in that mode permanently? Can you play games,... in that mode?

i'm shure in a couple of days we have it free since their dongle is just the same as the cheaper clones.

@clik.MEK mac address just does it for me. I have no idea why free space shows like that on the video maybe its the service mode.

BTW, the clones will defy the one downgrader/one ps jailbreak BS these people are trying to pull off and wtf is with their one time downgrade that cannot be done over and over again. They wont cash in that much like they did first, thing will be cloned in a day when the scene gets their hands on.
