PS3Win v0.9.6 Released

ManuNg over at the French GX-MOD PS3 forums has released a new updated version of his PS3Win program.

ManuNg, de notre forum, propose une nouvelle version de son utilitaire vous permettant de gérer votre liste de jeux PS3 en local et sur une PS3 (en FTP).

Fonctionnalités:

- Recherche la liste des jeux présents sur différents répertoires locaux, sur des disques usb ou sur une PS3 en FTP
- Permet de modifier la version d'OS PS3 minimum ou le 'PSP remote-play' du jeu.
- Affiche les jeux sous forme de liste, d'icônes ou d'images.
- Vous pouvez spécifier plusieurs répertoires contenant des jeux
- Possibilité de parcourir l'arborescence sur la PS3 avec un mini explorateur pour ajouter les répertoires des jeux.
- Récupère l'image, l'Id, le nom, la date du fichier, la version d'Os minimum, la version du jeu, la taille et le Psp remote-play.
- Vous pouvez copier les jeux à partir de la liste
- Vous pouvez imprimer la liste ou l'enregistrer dans un fichier texte.
- Vous pouvez également visualiser les images du jeu.
- Il peut être mis en langue Anglaise.

Nouveautés/corrections :

- Ajout des informations de compatibilité Ps jailbreak.
- Changement d'outil de déploiement pour créer l'installateur (Inno Setup Compiler) afin de corriger les mises à jour de Ps3Win qui n'écrasé pas le fichier exe. Cela devrait également limiter les erreurs d'installation de Ps3Win, il est notamment compatible Windows 7.
- Possibilité de spécifier un répertoire de destination pour les pkg.
- Correction de l'erreur "APP_VER entry is required' pour la création de pkg de certains jeux.

I don't think so ... I think this is to basically keep your PS3 games organized better.

Not working. Errors when communication with PS3. Tried with Rogero & Gaia Managers as well as PS3FTP. All have communication errors.

Speaking for myself I can tell you I'm very familiar with FTP'ing files. Been doing it since the original xbox was hacked. The problem is not in the setup, it's in the application. Currently there is no real stable FTP manager for the PS3. They are all buggy but they do work and so I know my FTP setup is correct. LOL :/

I have no problem using this tool with multiMAN on my PS3.

You must set the option first to connect to your PS3 (set the proper IP address) and for multiMAN ftp access set

User: anonymous
Password: (leave it blank)

And then set the location of you games (in my case /dev_hdd0/GAMES) and remove those that you don't need.

Well I have it partially working. The problem is the PS3Win does not like switching between mutiple paths such as hdd0 and usb000. I have games on both drives and the manager will read and load the game list for those paths seperately with no problem but if I include both paths at the same time then I get a communication error. Since each path works when it is the only path set up, I know the paths are correct.

Anyone else see this?
