ok how come on the original post it says that you cant use this to play gt5?i thought that gt5 only requires you to have 3.50 not 3.55,$ony releasing a new fw wouldnt make a previously released retail game designed to require 3.50 magically require you to have 3.55
so couldnt you just dl a 3.50fw psup file on your pc put it on a thumbdrive and update to 3.50 to play an original retail game that requires 3.50 then use the downgrader to go back to 3.41? i would think the only thing this new fw release would change is 1)the ability to go on psn ,2)the ability to downgrade a console with 3.55, 3)play future game releases with a 3.55 requirement. if im wrong can someone please explain why?

The OP says this device will not enable you to play GT5. It won't. The purpose of the downgrade is to allow you to downgrade to a lower FW for jailbreaking. If you want to play 3.50 before you downgrade that's up to you. But this device doesn't jailbreak 3.50 or enable playing GT5 under 3.41, some common newcomer misconceptions which is why this was included in the OP.

Procedura d'aggiornamento (Downgrade):

- Una volta scaricato il programma d'aggiornamento dal sito ufficiale, scompattate il tutto in una cartella ed avviate l'exe.

- Ora inserite la vostra Ps3UsbJailbreak in una porta USB del Pc ed attendete che riconosca il dispositivo, si alterneranno due led Verde ed Arancione mentre sul programma uscira scirtto(Connected AT64S)
- Ora selezioniamo dal menù a tendina quale aggiornamento fare al nostro dispositivo, in questo caso Downgrade

- Ora non ci resta che selezionare Start ed attendere che il programma scrivi correttamente la Ps3UsbJailbreak.

- Una finestra ci avviserà che l'aggiornamento sarà andanto a buon fine.

Extra: Ovviamente in questo caso abbiamo aggiornato la nostra Ps3UsbJailbreak per effettuare il Downgrade alla nostra Ps3 (miraccomando funziona solo fino al Firmware 3.50, quindi non aggiornate alla nuova versione 3.55) però dal menù a tendina potrete selezionare l'aggiornamento che fà al caso vostro (Hermes, PL3 ed anche AsBestOS).

so anyone here test their downgraded ps3 running blue-ray disc movies?

im hearing that any downgrading will remove the ability to play blu-ray movie discs,so this kinda makes this useless as far as im concerned, well that plus the new fw so you cant use it to go online anymore
didnt team jailbreak brag about the ability of their downgrader to be able to downgrade any fw presently out or any FUTURE fw,you know back when everyone was doubting and saying that the downgrade didnt even exist and that team jb was bluffing to scam people into preordering it,so maybe,hopefully they werent bluffing about that either,and they know something we dont,maybe it why sony is going on the rampage and tryin to sue now maybe they know somethig too like that all their work on this new fw is going to be half for nothing,and what ever happened to x3max 3.50 jb
