I assume that with this method the principle of NOT dowgrading below the firmware your PS3 originally came with still applies.
umm, I'm a little confused. I have a 120g slim stuck in an update loop on 3.55(its looking for a damn blu ray eye, which is broken). I have a psp go hacked with a HEN (not very many apps work on it, its the sukiri one). Would this work for me, and if it did, would it even help? thanks in advance
I'm not sure why some people are being dicks, this is still useful, at least to some people. Some just prefer a lower firmware version.
Also, there are people like me. I was updating my PS3 to a new CFW, but my BluRay is broken, so I'm having to use BDB firmwares. For some reason, I can't upgrade to kmeaw BDB in recovery mode due to some error, and I can't through XMB because I went to 3.55 OFW BDB because it said to go to that first, so it thinks I'm on the newest version. Using this, I should be able to either downgrade to 3.41 BDB and then find a way to run code from there, or downgrade and then upgrade back directly to 3.55 kmeaw BDB through XMB.
So, thank you, Brandon Wilson. I will probably thank you again after I actually get this to work.
does this work on a psp 3000 slim 6.35PRO?
so, will this get me out of an update loop or not?
Tried it multiple times on my oldie 1003 fat with 5.50 GEN-D3 . It says keys sent but console boots as if nothing was plugged in. Got no plugins on etc. Any clue what have I done wrong? Any feedback is welcome.
can someone PLEASE tell me if this will get me out of an update loop??
Thanks for the work
looks like it works great when it works
