can anyone tell me which .bin and .hex file i need for my x3max i´m loosing the overview![]()
p3go team, thank you soooo muchgot mine from aliexpress (michael xu) withing 5 working days! Love this device
this is awesome news...not that i need to downgrade though :P
so just to clarify, putting the update.bin file into the root will obviously reflash the firmware to what i assume is being referred to as 'v10 core', then we put the same file back on the root dir and rename it to downgrade.bin, stick it into the ps3 and it'll boot into service mode? then to jump out of service mode we just rename/delete downgrade.bin and reboot the ps3?
so assuming this is all correct, once we reflash to v10, we just have _downgrade.bin and psgroove.hex in our root and rename when we want to downgrade?
is it me or is the any hex feature broken now? every hex they supplied in the thanksgiving update, doesnt load it, rename it psgroove.hex but on checking what is being used, its hermes???
anyone else get the same??
maybe its fixed with ver2
GAMEBOXCode:19:22:47 2010-12-08 (downgrade) 1. Support the 3.50 3.42 3.41 degrade to the lower version. 2. Upgrade according to the normal upgrade method, and then in the root directory there is “downgrade.bin”, this is degrade mode. Delete the “downgrade.bin”, it will recover to the common mode. 3. Modify a small BUG in the first version.
