PS3Go joins the Downgrading Party!

PS3go finally released their downgrade update via the a9vg forum's!

Update: Confirmed this is working with factory / service mode now!

Here is how it works:

1. Download this attachment, unrar it.
2. Plug ps3go to computer and file update.bin goes to ps3go root dir. (flashdisk not TF!)
3. Unplug it and plug it in again (this will flash ps3go to V10 core)
4. Send file downgrade.bin to the root of flashdisk to enable factory/service mode.
5. Use normail jailbreak procedure (press start and eject) switch on ps3
6. Turn off system via xmb. (Old model ps3 need to shutdown via xmb. New model ps3 will just go off itself!)
7. Power on and its factory / service mode!

After degrade you can simply rename or delete downgrade.bin for ps3go and back to jb mode.

the first downgrade file caused the any hex function to stop working which has now been fixed in the second one and has been confirmed by danfozzzy in the thread

Just received an email from P3Go saying they they have a downgrader for their device now too... It's amazing how quick these are all coming out thanks to the unencrypted release of PSGrade.

This was the email I received:

This breaking news has not yet hit their own "News" page on gamebox.hk - i've checked their download section, but nothings available to download *yet*

P3Go being one of the better clones on the market now performing downgrades... this is a good look.

did it come with any other file, all I can see so far is it says v10

ive just flashed the update and tested it to see if i could get into service mode, and yup it does get you to service mode, but im not willing to downgrade just yet

OK confirmed PS3go is working with factory / service mode with new update! (V10 core) How it works:

rename downgrade.bin to anything to disable ps3go factory/service mode.

Please let us know if this also disables bd movies from playing.
Backup your dev_flash folders before downgrading.

probably, it seems to depend on fat slim and region

doesn't screw up drive just disallows playback of BD movies
