PS3 break fooled at lot of people by selling a dongle that was advertised as upgradable and even if they claim to offer warranty they don't do anything. Don't buy PS3 break, you cannot trust them !

I lucked out and my v1.0 IS upgradeable. i have not had one issue with the 10 chips ive flashed with the new hex files.

What this guy said. Also remember, that it might take them ages to even ship this crap (it took lighttake about 10 days to ship mine, one more week has passed and dongle still isn't there yet)

Just look for the alternatives. I got mine atmega32U2 based (udip) for 11.99$ plus 4 or 5 $ shipping. Payed on Friday, shipped on Saturday, got it in 10 days. (Europe). Works like a charm.

Got myself the ps3break and my buddies got it, simply awesome can flash with the latest firmware and run my games without the disk . flawless

Bought 2 of these for friends, which of course turned out to be PIC's. Now I feel like im giving them rubbish instead of the real deal.

heres a good question.

is this based on the retail pkg payload or is it based off the new one that mathieulh talked about?

if its mathieulh then this would be the first chip with this support wouldnt it?

i got my 1.1 free for buying a 1.0 piece of garbage from one of those hong kong sites. im a total noob i know this sorry for the current and future stupid questions. my question is i have the 1.1 how do i upgrade it? i was looking on the website and the lady on the video says to click on the icon, where do i find/ download that at?

Got stung as well here with the crappy pic ver ordered one of ps2chipers simple usb dongle same day stay away for these ps3breaks their is now also "fake" 1.1 versions with no upgrade.....
