You need to let us know what you have actually tried if you want some help! Have you ever placed firmware (1.7mhex for example) on your PS3Break? You used the "PS3Break Loader v1.1" to do it, right? Well, the ps3break-downgrade file is a mhex file, too. Load it the same way you would the 1.7mhex firmware. If you are still have problems, then let me know what steps you have taken, and I will try and help you get the rest of the way.

Seeing as you say, you just got the PS3Break, I am willing to assume you have no idea what you are doing so far. First of all, their new site for recent files to download is www.gogsoftware.com. Either go their, or go to the first post of this thread, and download all the files for your PS3Break v1.2. - PS3 3.50 Spoof (Modify the firmware version from 3.41 to 3.50 so that can support those games need 3.50 environment).
Warning: Do not upgrade the PS3 console from 3.41 to 3.50!
- Debug console.
Note: Some customer might encounter problem of running "PS3Break Firmware Uploader 1.0" in their windows OS system.
Please go to the link below to download the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)" to fix the problem.

Once you have all the files downloaded, you need to install the "VC Runtime Environement Package (2010.11.04)".

Now, it is time to open up the PS3Break Burner Guide, and get your PS3Break setup first, before you go and start the downgrade process.

After you have loaded the "1.7mhex", test it out. Now, go back to step 6, and load the "PS3Break PSGrade.mhex"

I'm having much of the same problem, I'm on firmware 3.50 and trying to downgade to 3.41..

I've updated my PS3break V1.1 to the 3.50 downgrade to 3.41 but everytime I try to use it on the PS3 (after pressing the power button and then instantly eject) it tells me that I've inserted an unknown USB device, I'm absolutely clueless as to what to do

Any help??

did you try to reflash your PS3Break v1.1 with PL3 or Herme 4b again ?

I reflashed to Hermes v4b, then back to the downgrade and no luck?

ohh dude you havenot downgraded your PS3 right ?

if yes then have you reflashed your dongle with downgrade hex ?

I'm having no luck with the downgrading, I reflashed the dongle to PSGrade 3.50

(Firmware Description:
Downgrade PS3 3.50 to 3.41)

and it tells me its been successful

It's just the next step I'm stumped with, I'll plug it into the PS3, turn it on and instantly press eject but nothing happens, the PS3break doesn't light up like the instructions say either

Before you perform this procedure, you must turn off the PS3 system and disconnect. Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet then proceed with power/eject button sequence... (If you have a slim)

3.50 online play, Netfilx, etc.
PSN User Account, for Saves
3D Blu-Ray

Update: I hear now it is only good for 3D Blu-Ray. Perhaps Netflix?
