Nobody knows whats its going to cost exactly, I'm sure that even Sony hasn't figured out completely. $465 was estimated using the highest estimated price Sony could sell the unit for in Japanese Yen's, then converted that number to US dollars. You cannot guess the price doing this. Even a cab ride in Japan can cost up to $300 US dollars(!).

Here is my question.. Don't see a slot for PS1/PS2 memcards, yet it will be backwards compatible? So we have to start all our PS1/PS2 games from scratch? That would suck ass. I know its a prototype but damn they couldn't even shove a PS2 memcard slot in there for the prototype? Or are we not going to offer PSX/PS2 card support? Or will there be an official (note: extra cost) optional "save converter" to convert PSX/PS2 saves to SD or something?
I think there is a spot in the front that flips open and hides some usb ports and maybe thats where the ps2 card slot is *shurgs*

I think Sony may use their own memory sticks as a replacement for memory cards.
Maybe there will be some sort of memory card - SD adapter?
^^ Where do these pics come from?
My thought is this. $ony is releasing their console AFTER XBox360 & spec wise it's still not as powerful. What gives? Here's where I read it.
If my system comes out after yours, I'm gonna make damn sure it's better than yours. Ya know what I mean?
No matter how much Jell-O you put in a swimming pool you still can't walk on water.
