Sadly it does work

cant even open game folders/see anything......

It works just fine; unpack the compressed file and double click to run. Select the folder that holds all your backups, not the individual games and the list will be populated. It's as simple as that.

No it doesnt, i already tried all that. All i get is a bar at the bottom page like it wants to load but nothing.

Seems to be an issue with your box, then. Tested on 10.6.2 and 10.6.6 with no problems whatsoever.
