At last this will lead the way to a real custom firmware not just a sony one with a few addons. Gameos from linux could mean full ntfs support and are true media center. Great job makes me wanna learn more about linux to personalize it more for my use cheers.
hoping that kmeaw creates his cfw

Good work Geoff Levand
has anyone tried this yet?
This is great! Just another stepping stone with more features for users to use on the ps3.
Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure Sony's nuts are already caved in.... but what the heck another kick should do it.![]()
linux? not to step on anyone's toes or anything... but that's pretty useless. Only a very small percentage of the scene users will have any use from this. And even then, im sure they already have a high-end pc with linux on it.
lettuce be cereal, the only significance this release has is giving sony the finger.
This is good news for the few people who might be intrested in Linux
As i see, this solution has an own CFW.
Currently i am on kmeaw 3.55.
Am i going to lose kmeaw 3.55 features with installing this CFW?
What do you think?
sounds great
i would love to see everything the ps3 can do. even if its something i might not need but hey it might be fun to have.
keep up the great work hope more stuff comes from this

This is great news!Thanks
