Hmmm.. I have installed the 355 version twice, applied the same patches to Rebug manually and created an MFW from scratch using the tasks from gitbrew..
On ALL occasions ALL of my DLC suffers from the following (80010601) error..

Anyone else experiencing this error?
NOTE: Returning back to my old firmware got my content working again.
Well on the gitbrew site it says not to use it on a MFW, I would consider Rebug firmware to be an MFW. Since its actually modded with more then most CFWs it could be less stable. I myself am going to install OFW 3.55 then install the Wutangrza CFW then add this to it. Seems like a lot but since Wutangrza is not a MFW but instead is just a CFW it should work fine...(I hope lol ) I will post my results later today...
so great news but I have one question.
I am right when I say if we can use the function of the GameOS that we can easilie decrypt the 3.60 firmware? Cause we can "simulate" the installation or rather the decryption process of the 3.60 firmware?
LINUX FTW
If you check gitbrew he has made tasks for ps3mfw builder 0.2.. Which I used to build it from scratch with OFW 3.55, as well as applying the same patches to rebug manually and also installing the the prebuilt PUP, all with the same result.
I haven't bothered with the linux side of it yet.. If it is going to break my DLC I would rather figure out why first.. Which is why I was wondering if anyone else has got a 80010601 error with their DLC after installing.
Cheers.. :)
Lettuce speak normal English - how are you going to do proper debugging without OtherOS? How are you going to do anything more than printf-style debugging on a retail machine? How are you going to look for L2 cache misses and the like? How are you going to do anything with the current dev environment on retail without a 'poor man's dev environment' like OtherOS? Good luck programming for SPUs on GameOS - I can just imagine how fun it must be to restart the system for the umpteenth time in a row.
