If I put this on my stock 3.55 320GB Slim, will everything else still work as normal
- Play games from disc
- Bluray playback

If for whatever reason I had to go back to 3.55 official, would it put the system back to an official stock ps3.

Should, haven't heard of any disc playback issues, AFAIK the only issue is backups cant b played yet

yes blu-ray playback is fine (i have tried it myself earlier) and games still load from disc as normal.
