i wonder what scummvm is?

ScummVM is a prog which allows you to play the old Lucasarts games. Scumm stands for Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion hence the name Scumm & it was used in games starting with Maniac Mansion released in 1986 (for Commodore 64, PC port came a yr later) & ending with The Curse of Monkey Island released in 1997.Originally Posted by ÇÐ~kÂ??
You can read a big info about what Scumm is at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCUMM & http://www.justadventure.com/article...UMM/SCUMM.shtm .
ScummVM also plays several non Scumm games such as Beneath A Steel Sky, Simon The Sorceror 1 & 2 & Flight Of The Amazon Queen.

Just as a side note: I know the official developpers are working an official port of it; one of them drastically helped me fixing things in compilers toolchain and in ps2sdk lately.
Well, that's just to be nice with ole, in order to avoid double work. The guy is on #scummvm, nickname Cody56 or LavosSpawn.
