can i boot the ps2os in my dms4lite using cd?

ps: can someone tell me what is the memcard exploit?
and maybe point me to an english site with
info on ps2 exploits, as well as how to connect ps2
through usb to my pc.

Oh man, FINALLY !
Iv always been working on skins and such for xbox dashboards and some programs but iv always wanted something like this for the ps2. Come on now, setting up something as simple as an ftp connection on your ps2 isnt what i would call a walk in the park. Hopefully this will open up a new world of possibilities for the ps2 scene.

(ive not had a very good experience with the previous versions)

looks like a good idea, but to me looks like it still has a way to go

the previous version never ****ed up any partition nor data on the hdd... only you seem to have this problem, maybe you aren't able to use correctly the program

it just made everything say there wasnt anything there :S and hdloader said it wasnt formatted

so ive stayed away from it since then

I had the 0.3b 48 bit version of Ps2OS... and yeah it screwd my HDD!! I couldn't connect to my HDD using Hdl_dump... I had to reformat my hdd and I deleted ps2os. and got Ps2Menu-k back on my MC, after al that sh*t my is working again. I have to admid that ps2os worked fine at first... but after booting HDL0ader up with ps2os... it just got screwd up.

Another reason why I deleted ps2os: all my games I booted with Cogswaploader got Italian.. I reported this to ps2world.it and Cod3x told me it was a bug. In the next version it wil be fixed.
I can't wait to tryout the new ps2os

I'm excited for this program as well. Im just worried that more focus is going into the LOOKS instead of functionality. Please prove me wrong when this comes out

A media center....hell yes.

What REALLY BUGS ME....is this. Look at the psp. The sdk has been out for a month or less, something like that, and they already have TONS of homebrew stuff. Now is this because of the fact that most of the coders for the ps2 scene privatize it for themselfs and a few select people...or is there really no interest anymore

Yes that is treu... But afterall the ps2 is out for such a long time. I think programmers are happy that there is something new out. I think they need some sort of challange.
And I can understand that. Being at the same level all the time will get boring after a while

... We just got to be happy with wat we get right

?

But your right about the looks thing... cause it is nice all that skinning and stuff... but the functionality is more inportant to me. I'm now more focused on that SMS prog. I like that project. Cause it gets updated all the time

I must say, i'm happy to find this forum lol
