I hope this is developed as I have 3 here now that I would like to change from a R-type to a C-type not to mention my own V7 that has a Sanyo laser.

sorry for my bad english.
Wouldn't it be possible to alter the operation of the system by reflashing the eeprom. It would be cool if we could hack the eeprom to be able to display a 3rd party drive in the browser, or even replace the browser all together with something similar to a dashboard
just a thought
Is it possible to launch naplinkPS2 from memory card so that unchipped PS2 can be re-flashed in order to exchange laser?
I wouldnt see why not and in fact on the Spanish site they talk about useing naplink.

G, i just e-mailed you a translation for the directions, Hope it will be usefull
yes, on their site they just burn the ISO of naplinkps2 so it's obvious that a chipped ps2 is needed. Whatever we use as the server at PS2 side, as long as we can get it into memory card things would be a lot easier. I will try PS2 Independence late and see how the naplinkps2.elf goes. I think npm-2301irx, npm-usbd.irx are needed in the same folder with naplink.elf
